Tomatoes are not yet complete
A greenhouse designed for tomatoes should also be clarified for the variety, cultivation and production cycle. If a high stock or longer operating time is included in the programme, it may be a consequence of spatial and work organisation. The investor should therefore also record, in addition to the name of the plant, the location and operations specified by the cultivation technology. M Dalsem and Van der Hoeven herb-dependent solutions give a professional background to this approach. However, the suitability of the own building can be determined by specific arrangement and data. The unchanged receipt of a drawing of another culture does not answer all the questions of use of the planned stock.
Plant linkage structural task
Where the cultivation technology links plant elements to the building, the load and fixing shall be managed in the structural plan. The technology supplier and the design designer use the same layout and data. The customer must ask for a drawing which also interprets the in-use status in addition to the initial plant stock. Space demand is not only important at the moment of installation. The combined location of the holder, umbrella, lighting and mechanical element shall also be consulted. The proper design may provide evidence of the suitability of the structure; an apparently free upper space is not a load or anchorage permit.
Route of line and harvest together
In parallel with the arrangement of production lines, the way of the worker, the means of picking and the product must be drawn. This shows where to access the file, where to turn the car and what connection leads to the service area. Placing as many plants as possible does not necessarily give a well-usable operating order. The width of the equipment and working corridors shall be defined for the specific technology. If several teams are working at the same time, the user positions should be examined together. In the drawing, the lines appear not only as cultivation surfaces, but also as a route of daily work and handling.
The climate and water supply should fit into the selected programme
The conditions defined by the producer must also be implemented in the mechanical and irrigation concept. Water source, zones, measuring points and regulation serve the same plant stock. If the production cycle changes, previous operating assumptions shall also be assessed. The specific setting is not derived from this general prospectus, but from the professional programme of the chosen plant and technology. The investor therefore requests in the tender to specify the starting data used. Instead of a separate list of structures and equipment, the jointly understood cultivation task shows the meaning of system connections.
Change of season should be possible
The location and time requirements of removal of the file, new installation and associated control should be examined in the layout. The path of waste, new material and working equipment shall be followed. By changing the crop holder and the growing element, the schematic may be modified. The operational plan should therefore include, in addition to the start-up, the task of the later transition. At the time of delivery, the operator shall recognise the equipment and the corresponding zone. The green house designed for tomatoes thus serves a named production programme, not merely a general greenhouse construction with a plant label at the end of the offer.
Questions to reconcile the project
- What kind, mode of production and cycle determine the space requirement?
- Who will hand over the load and recording data for the structural designer?
- Does the list show the way for harvesting and for changing stocks?
Professional background
The related international system solutions are provided by these primary manufacturers and execution sites. The decision aspects of the project shall be interpreted independently by the article; the specific size and content of the undertaking shall be clarified on the basis of the investment data.
