Compare two project versions
The idea of enlargement often arises from the fact that there is already a road, water and machinery house available at the existing plant. This may be a valuable gift, but it does not prove that every system can accept the new part. More preparation may arise than new construction, but the design may be more free from the purpose of cultivation. Both versions shall be described on their own terms.
The same production target and useful operational needs should be provided for the comparison. If the extension version contains less additional space and the new plant contains full service, direct comparison of the goods does not give much away. The decision sheet shall show the planned growing space, the service functions and the work to be carried out separately, so that the real difference between the two concepts can be seen.

Before enlargement, it is worth collecting the usable documentation for existing structures, utilities and equipment. Special consultation may be required between the separation of the work area, access and the time when a system relationship is modified.
The customer shall indicate the limits to the production cycle. The construction team can arrange the necessary preparatory and control steps. A narrower time window can require a different organisation than a free site. The aim is not a general promise of non-stop, but a preliminary, well-understood description of the expected intervention and its operational consequences.
Draw the later status
The success of enlargement is not determined only by the preparation of the new area. The whole site shall be clearly usable after change. It is worth checking separately for people, products and tools, maintenance access and the possibility of subsequent development. These are both important decision-making aspects in comparing new construction and enlargement.
At the end of the election, there should be a record of the data that we accepted or rejected. If the existing infrastructure is tested with a new limit, the decision sheet shall be updated. Enlargement can be evaluated realistically if, in addition to the new interface, the joint systems are modified and the operational transition is seen; the new plant is accompanied by the complete preparation required.
